The Treasure Crest EC Site Layout | Site Design

The Treasure Crest site plan shows that a lot of thinking, experience, and attention to detail has gone into the planning of the site layout. (In its simplicity it even bears a resemblance to the site layout of the Arcady at Boon Keng, an exclusive private condominium development that is one the same MRT line, the North-East “purple” line. Except that the Arcady condo is a freehold residential development on a smaller land parcel.) The most important concerns are taken care of, and the design maximises the use of the site. Key points:

  1. Like the Arcady condo, the units are aligned in a predominantly north-south orientation, that minimises the heat from the afternoon sun, while encouraging wind flow.
  2. The blocks are ringed around the facilities, including the pools, sun decks, clubhouse, jacuzzis & spas. This arrangement maximises the distance between facing blocks while protecting the privacy of users of the facilities.
  3. The main entrance incorporates a welcoming entrance portico and waterfall garden.
  4. The bin centre and substation are tucked away in one corner of the site.
